U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to Host Workshop on Performance Assessments of Near-Surface Disposal Facilities

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission will host a workshop to facilitate communication among federal and state agencies, industry representatives, and the public on near-surface low-level radioactive waste disposal facilities, focusing on FEPs analysis, scenario development, and code selection to improve performance assessment guidance.
