U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Publishes Final Environmental Impact Statement for Proposed Fluorine Extraction and Depleted Uranium Deconversion Plant

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has released its final environmental impact statement for a proposed plant in Lea County, New Mexico, which would extract fluorine and convert depleted uranium, a project submitted by International Isotopes Fluorine Products, Inc. in 2009.
