DOD, GSA, and NASA Issue Interim Rule on Contingency Operation Definition

The Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) have published an interim rule to update the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and clarify the definition of a contingency operation, following changes to the statutory definition under the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012.
