DoD, GSA, and NASA Propose Amendments to Federal Acquisition Regulation for Higher-Level Contract Quality Requirements

The Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) are proposing changes to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to clarify when to use higher-level quality standards in government solicitations and contracts, with the goal of reducing counterfeit items in government contracting.
