US FDA Grants Time-Limited Exemption for Pesticide Ingredient

The US FDA has granted a time-limited exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for a specific pesticide ingredient, allowing its use in certain formulations at levels up to 7%. The exemption, requested by the Joint Inerts Task Force, expires on May 17, 2012.
