U.S. Health and Human Services Terminates COVID-19 Emergency Use Declarations for Medical Devices

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is terminating three declarations authorizing emergency use of medical devices during the COVID-19 pandemic, effective June 29, 2026, following a determination that circumstances no longer justify such authorization.
