Department of Justice Adjusts Civil Monetary Penalties for Inflation

The Department of Justice is implementing inflation adjustments to civil monetary penalties assessed or enforced by its components, starting from January 29, 2018, for violations occurring after November 2, 2015, in line with the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015.
