HHS Extends Comment Period for Fluoride Concentration in Drinking Water

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is extending the comment period for a proposed recommendation to adjust the amount of fluoride in drinking water to 0.7 mg/L to balance protection from dental caries with the risk of dental fluorosis, as initially published on January 13, 2011.
