Waiver of Acceptable Risk Restriction for Launch and Reentry

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has granted waivers to Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) for two petitions: one to reduce the risk of casualties from launch debris and another to minimize the risk of casualties from launch and reentry of a reentry vehicle. The FAA approved the petitions, allowing SpaceX to proceed with its launch and reentry activities.
