Boeing Revises Airworthiness Directive for 737 Series Airplanes
The Boeing Company is revising an earlier proposed airworthiness directive for certain 737-600, -700, -700C, -800, and -900 series airplanes to also supersede an existing directive. The revision aims to detect and correct an unsafe condition associated with erroneous output from a radio altimeter channel, which could lead to premature autothrottle landing flare retard and loss of control of the airplane.
