Federal Railroad Administration to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Northeast Corridor Passenger Rail Improvements

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) is issuing a Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for potential passenger rail improvements between Washington, D.C., New York City, and Boston, as part of the NEC FUTURE program, which aims to enhance rail service and capacity on the Northeast Corridor.
