FSIS Discontinues 30-mL Campylobacter Analysis for Young Chickens

The US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has suspended the use of its 30-mL qualitative analysis for detecting Campylobacter in young chickens, citing that the 1-mL sample volume is sufficiently sensitive to identify substandard process control.
