USDA Revises Onion Standards to Allow Mixed Colors

The US Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Marketing Service is updating the US Standards for Grades of Onions to reflect modern marketing practices, allowing for mixed colors in specialty packs and providing greater flexibility for the industry.
