The Department of the Treasury, on behalf of itself and the United States Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), is seeking public comment on a new proposed information collection to assess the accessibility of US paper currency for blind and visually impaired individuals. This follows the approval of a generic clearance for conference studies and focus groups, which allowed the BEP to collect information on tactile features for accessible currency.
