Simplification of U.S. Customs and Border Protection Regulations for Export Drawback Claims

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has amended its regulations to simplify the process of establishing proof of exportation for drawback claims. The changes remove some of the requirements for documentary evidence, including the need for certified copies of export invoices for mail shipments.
