U.S. Extends Import Restrictions on Nicaraguan Pre-Hispanic Archaeological Material

The U.S. Department of State has extended import restrictions on certain categories of archaeological material from the Pre-Hispanic cultures of Nicaragua for an additional 5 years, until October 20, 2020, due to ongoing concerns about cultural preservation and illicit trade.
