U.S. Office of Personnel Management Issues Final Regulations on Sick Leave and Advanced Sick Leave

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management has finalized rules allowing employees to substitute accrued sick leave for unpaid FMLA leave to care for a seriously injured or ill covered servicemember, and reorganizing existing sick leave regulations to improve understanding and administration of the program.
