NRC to Consider Petition for Rulemaking on Reduced Security Officer Work Schedule

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has agreed to review a petition submitted by Erik Erb and 91 cosigners regarding a proposed rule change to reduce the minimum days off requirement for security officers working 12-hour shifts from 3 days per week to 2.5 or 2 days per week.
