US FCC to Consider Rulemaking to Enhance 9-1-1 System Resiliency and International Communications
The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will consider a proposal to extend outage reporting requirements for interconnected VoIP and broadband service providers to improve the resiliency of the 9-1-1 system and the country's critical communications infrastructure, as part of its regulatory reform efforts.
