FCC Receives OMB Approval for Video Description Rules

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has announced that the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has approved the video description rules for a period of three years. The rules, which require video content providers to include closed captions, were finalized on September 8, 2011, after receiving OMB preapproval on April 22, 2011.
