Chicago Transit Authority to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Red Line Extension Project

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) plan to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed Red Line Extension Project, which would extend the heavy rail transit line from 95th Street Station to 130th Street in Cook County, Illinois, and invite public participation in the process.
