Chicago Transit Authority to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Yellow Line Extension Project

The Chicago Transit Authority and the Federal Transit Administration plan to prepare an environmental impact statement for the proposed Yellow Line extension, which would extend the heavy rail transit line from the Dempster Street Station to Old Orchard Road in Cook County, Illinois, and invite public participation in the process.
