EPA Proposes Addition of Nine Sites to National Priorities List Under Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed adding nine sites to the National Priorities List (NPL), a list of hazardous substance releases and threats across the US, under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). The proposed additions will guide EPA in determining which sites require further investigation to assess public health and environmental risks.
