NHTSA Requests Public Comment on Reinstatement of Tire Information Collection

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is seeking public comment on its intention to request approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to reinstate a previously approved information collection related to tire identification and recordkeeping, with a cost increase of $37,000 due to an estimated rise in the number of vehicles from 19 million to 20 million.
