Interim Final Rules Prohibit Genetic Discrimination in Health Insurance and Group Health Plans

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has issued interim final rules that ban discrimination based on genetic information in health insurance coverage and group health plans, as mandated by the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008.
