EPA Grants Exemption for Ammonium Chloride Residues on Raw Agricultural Commodities

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a regulation exempting residues of ammonium chloride (CAS Reg. No. 12125-02-9) applied pre-harvest on raw agricultural commodities from the requirement of a tolerance, following a petition submitted by SciReg, Inc. under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
