EPA Proposes Revised Emission Standards for Coal Preparation and Processing Plants

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is issuing final amendments to the new source performance standards for coal preparation and processing plants, which include revised emission limits for particulate matter and opacity standards for specific equipment, as well as new limits for sulfur dioxide and combined nitrogen oxide and carbon monoxide emissions, effective after April 28, 2008, and May 27, 2009, respectively.
