NMFS Sets Incidental Bluefin Tuna Retention Limits for Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Longline Category in Northeast Distant Gear Restricted Area

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has reached the 25-metric-ton quota for the Atlantic bluefin tuna (BFT) Longline category Northeast Distant gear restricted area (NED) fishery, and will implement incidental BFT retention limits for the remainder of the fishing year for vessels permitted to fish in the NED.
