EPA Grants Petition to Exclude Wastewater Sludges from Hazardous Waste List

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted a petition to exclude wastewater treatment plant sludges from conversion coating on aluminum generated at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant in Michigan from the list of hazardous wastes, pending conditions.
