Medicare Program: Changes to Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System and CY 2010 Payment Rates; Changes to Ambulatory Surgical Center Payment System and CY 2010 Payment Rates

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has released a final rule with a comment period to update Medicare payment rates for hospital outpatient services and ambulatory surgical centers, effective January 1, 2010.
