Endangered and Threatened Species; Recovery Plans Extension

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has extended the public comment period for the Draft Central Valley Salmon and Steelhead Recovery Plan by 60 days, from December 5, 2009, to March 5, 2010, in response to requests from interested parties. The plan aims to recover the Sacramento River winter-run Chinook salmon and Central Valley spring-run Chinook salmon, as well as the Distinct Population Segment of Central Valley Steelhead.
