US Forest Service Opens Comment Period for Draft Environmental Impact Statement and Management Plan Amendment for Tropic to Hatch 138 kV Transmission Line Project and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument

The US Forest Service, in collaboration with the Bureau of Land Management and National Park Service, has released a Draft Environmental Impact Statement and Draft Resource Management Plan Amendment for a proposed 138 kV transmission line project and a management plan amendment for the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, and is now accepting public comments.
