DOE Publishes Final Rule to Adjust Civil Monetary Penalties for Inflation

The Department of Energy has published a final rule to increase its civil monetary penalties by inflation, as mandated by the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, to reflect the current cost of enforcing its regulations.
