U.S. Customs and Border Protection to Terminate Land Border Carrier Initiative Program

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) plans to discontinue the Land Border Carrier Initiative Program (LBCIP) and redirect its partnership efforts to the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program, which offers enhanced security benefits to approved participants.
