U.S. Department of Education Proposes Revision to Student Financial Aid Application File System of Records

The U.S. Department of Education is proposing to update the categories of records and purposes for the Federal Student Financial Aid Application File, which contains information from applicants for Title IV financial assistance, to clarify the system's uses and expand routine disclosures.
