FAA Proposes to Update Rolls-Royce Engine Airworthiness Directive

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing to supersede an existing airworthiness directive for Rolls-Royce Deutschland Ltd & Co KG Trent7000-72 and Trent7000-72C engines, requiring initial and repetitive on-wing inspections to detect axial cracking and replacement of the high-pressure turbine blades, and removing the reduced life limit for affected blades.
