Nuclear Regulatory Commission Requests Public Comment on Renewal of Information Collection for Reporting of Defects and Noncompliance

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is seeking public comment on its intention to request the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) approval for renewal of an existing information collection, which requires individual directors and responsible officers of licensed facilities to report defects and noncompliance that pose a substantial safety hazard. The NRC is required to publish this notice under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 and must submit the request to the OMB for approval.
