US Government Agencies Finalize Rule to Implement Iran Sanctions on Defense Contracts

The Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) have adopted a final rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to comply with the Comprehensive Iran Sanctions, Accountability, and Divestment Act of 2010, which requires certification and prohibits procurement of defense contracts with entities involved in exporting sensitive technology to Iran.
