USITC Launches Investigation into AU Optronics Patent Infringement Allegations

The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) has initiated an investigation into allegations of patent infringement by AU Optronics Corporation of Taiwan and AU Optronics Corporation America, regarding the importation and sale of certain flat panel display devices and products containing the same. The investigation aims to determine whether these actions violate U.S. patents, and if so, whether an exclusion order should be issued to protect American industries.
