FCC Proposes Rules to Preserve Open Internet, Broadband Industry Practices

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is considering adopting rules to ensure the open internet, with proposed principles requiring broadband providers to treat lawful content and services nondiscriminatory and disclose network management practices, while exempting emergency communications and law enforcement needs.
