FERC Approves Midcontinent Express Pipeline Project in Louisiana and Texas

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has approved the Midcontinent Express Pipeline LLC (Midcontinent) project, allowing the pipeline to cross conservation easements in Louisiana and Texas, following a final environmental impact statement (EIS) prepared by FERC. The project, which was filed in 2007, aims to construct and operate a pipeline and facilities to transport natural gas.
