MD Helicopters Issues Airworthiness Directive for MD 600N Helicopters to Strengthen Tailboom Attachment Fittings

MD Helicopters, Inc. has issued an airworthiness directive (AD) for its MD 600N helicopters to modify the tailboom attachment fittings and upper longerons within the next 24 months, with additional requirements to inspect and replace broken bolts, in response to an accident caused by failure of the tailboom attach points.
