USDA Delays Verification Sampling of Contaminated Chicken Products

The US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is pushing back the start date of sampling not ready-to-eat breaded stuffed chicken products for Salmonella contamination from May 1, 2025, to November 3, 2025, to allow for additional time to finalize instructions for inspectors and prepare personnel and laboratories for the new sampling and testing process.
