FTA and Matanuska-Susitna Borough to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Hatcher Pass Recreational Area Trails and Transit Facilities Project

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and Matanuska-Susitna Borough are issuing a notice to inform the public that an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) will be prepared for the proposed Hatcher Pass Recreational Area Trails and Transit Facilities project in Alaska, which aims to construct access roads, parking areas, and pedestrian facilities for two day-use areas offering skiing and other recreational opportunities for local and regional residents.
