EPA Seeks Public Comment on Petition to Regulate Nanoscale Silver as Pesticides

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has made available for public review and comment a petition filed by the International Center for Technology Assessment (ICTA) and others, requesting that the agency classify nanoscale silver as a pesticide and take regulatory actions under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).
