MD Helicopters Issues Airworthiness Directive for MD900 Helicopters to Address Vertical Stabilizer Control System Issues

The Federal Aviation Administration has issued an airworthiness directive for MD Helicopters, Inc. Model MD900 helicopters to address a safety concern related to the vertical stabilizer control system, following four incidents where the system failed, resulting in reduced yaw control and potential loss of control of the helicopter.
