Clearwater National Forest to Pursue Land Exchange with Western Pacific Timber LLC

The US Forest Service is moving forward with a land exchange proposal from Western Pacific Timber LLC, which involves the transfer of approximately 40,000 acres of checkerboard land near Powell, Idaho, to the Forest Service in exchange for other public lands.
