USDA Rescinds Eviction Notice Requirements for Multi-Family Housing Properties

The US Department of Agriculture's Rural Housing Service is rescinding a 30-day notice requirement for nonpayment of rent before eviction proceedings in certain multi-family housing properties, effective April 24, 2024, due to unnecessary regulatory oversight and the fact that compliance with the CARES Act notice is already covered by project management requirements.
