Canada Fails to Comply with Softwood Lumber Agreement, US Imposes Duties
The US Trade Representative has imposed 10% ad valorem duties on imports of softwood lumber products from Canada due to Canada's failure to collect additional export charges as ordered by an arbitral tribunal under the 2006 Softwood Lumber Agreement.
