Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection Publishes Interim Final Rule for S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act Regulations

The Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection is seeking public comment on two new regulations, Regulation G and Regulation H, which implement the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (S.A.F.E. Act) and transfer rulemaking authority from seven Federal agencies to the Bureau, as part of the Dodd-Frank Act's transfer of authority effective July 21, 2011.
